Call Me By Your Name

Brazil, France, Italy, United States, 2017 / 132 Mins

Director: Luca Guadagnino

Starring: Armie Hammer, Timothée Chalamet

It's the summer of 1983, and precocious 17-year-old Elio is spending the days with his family at their villa in Italy. He soon meets Oliver, a handsome doctoral student who's working for Elio's father. Amid the splendour of their surroundings, Elio and Oliver discover the heady beauty of awakening desire over the course of a summer that will alter their lives forever.

Preceding the main feature, we are pleased to be showing the short film Get Staffed, directed by Jack Berry with Big Red Button. Ever wondered what your life would be like if you sold all your stuff and spent the money hiring people to do whatever you wanted..?

No.6 is taking a brief intermission - re-opening scheduled for May 9th

Loyal regulars will be aware that we have had a few technical issues with some of our screenings recently. We have been working to resolve these, and have been pleased that our most recent showings, including lengthy films like Dune: Part 2 and Apocalypse Now, have worked okay. But we feel it’s unfair on you to be crossing our fingers and hoping, we’d rather get things sorted properly.

The plan is to close for the next two weeks and hopefully return on Thursday 9th May. Keep an eye on the No.6 website and newsletter for confirmation or otherwise, and of course to find out what we will be showing when we do return. Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding.
