A heart-warming tale of an old man who, when his wife passes away, arms himself with his free local bus pass and travels to the other end of the UK, to the place they originally moved from. Using only local buses, he embarks on a nostalgic pilgrimage carrying his wife’s ashes in a small unassuming suitcase. In doing so he meets local people, and by the time he has reached his destination, he has become a celebrity.
