Back to all posts And a great time was had by all at the Pastel Wasteland Film Festival, We look forward to the next!

Just had to mention what a great time we had on Saturday thanks to Pastel Wasteland’s inaugural horror film festival. Horror shorts were submitted from film makers around the world which were then curated and screened in competition throughout the afternoon. We even had a chance to meet ‘Dave’ star of the film ‘Dead Air’ when he made a celebrity guest appearance and chatted up Bryony in the bar. Come the evening, awards for the best of the best were given out and the evening topped off with the premiere of ‘I am an Addict’. Great atmosphere, a hubbub of anticipation and then a surge of adrenaline post fear and frights. Thank you Pastel Wasteland for collaborating with No6 and bringing some new and fresh talent to the cinema.

Powerful and unexpectedly intimate

Presence, charisma and a bewitching voice, Michael Hutchence lead singer of INXS died in sad circumstances. Naturally the British media was salacious and savage, this film will show a different side capturing small but powerful personal moments. Mystify: Michael Hutchence is on Thursday evening.

An urgent portrait of resistance, the power of mobilization, and the mysteries of faith.

Why do some chose to speak out and others don’t? By the Grace of Godis French film maker Francois Ozon’s latest oeuvre on Friday evening.

The answers we seek are just outside our reach.

When a huge void is left by an absent parent, space is the only place to go….Ad Astra on Saturday night was shot on 35mm and is bound to be beautiful.
