Cinema screenings suspended until further notice

We regret to announce that in light of the COVID-19 situation, we are suspending all No.6 Cinema screenings with immediate effect.

With the latest government advice on avoiding unnecessary social contact, we feel it’s the right thing to do, to protect our customers, our volunteers, and their families.

Unfortunately yesterday’s announcement created a great deal of uncertainty for many across the country. This is especially the case for small and community organisations like ours. The only thing we can do in these circumstances is act responsibly and take the best decision for everyone in our community.

Our thanks as ever to our volunteers, customers, technicians and everyone else who supports the No.6 Cinema. Please look after yourselves and each other, and we hope to update you all soon.

FAQs

When will the cinema resume?

We plan to hold no more screenings until the end of April, though depending on the advice at that stage, this may extend to the May-June programme too. We’ll keep our community updated as things unfold, by email, website and on Facebook.

I booked tickets for an upcoming screening - can I get a refund?

If you’ve already paid for tickets for one of the affected screenings, you can request a refund via the no6 email. It would be helpful if you could forward your booking email. [email protected]

How can I support the cinema?

We thank you for all your messages of support at this anxious and difficult time. If you would like to support the cinema, the best thing you can do is give us your patronage once this is all over.
