£9 for a beer?

Back to all posts Come and sample the new Fallen Acorn Imperial Stout at No6 this weekend - you can always share with a friend or keep it all to yourself...

We love our little bar at No6, it’s a great place to meet up with friends for a pre-film bevvie or read a book with a cuppa. For a while now we have been serving beers brewed by Fallen Acorn Brewery and they have gone down a treat. When I order from their website I am enormously intrigued by some of the specialist beers they brew and sell, they retail at between 9-12 quid a can in some establishments. They look amazing but will anyone pay that much for a tinny? Let’s see shall we, I have taken the plunge and ordered just one case of their ‘Where is your Heart?’ imperial stout 11.5% ABV, maybe share one with your buddy?

No.6 is taking a brief intermission - re-opening scheduled for May 9th is 6.30

Loyal regulars will be aware that we have had a few technical issues with some of our screenings recently. We have been working to resolve these, and have been pleased that our most recent showings, including lengthy films like Dune: Part 2 and Apocalypse Now, have worked okay. But we feel it’s unfair on you to be crossing our fingers and hoping, we’d rather get things sorted properly.

The plan is to close for the next two weeks and hopefully return on Thursday 9th May. Keep an eye on the No.6 website and newsletter for confirmation or otherwise, and of course to find out what we will be showing when we do return. Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding.
