Back to all posts Bond is back for one night only.

Indeed Fort Cumberland is one of the most fascinating locations on Portsea Island so we are delighted to be holding our outdoor screenings within the fort’s curtain walls. In partnership with Ports Fest and The Portsmouth Distillery, No6 Cinema will be hosting three screenings on Saturday July 2nd. The LED screen means we can show our films throughout the day without waiting for dusk, and The Distillery will be serving drinks and pizzas for each of the films. Please bring chairs, blankets, sunscreen etc as the courtyard space outside the distillery is not grassy.

The tale of an extraordinary family who live in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto! This outdoor screening is taking place at The Portsmouth Distillery.

Encanto, our first film starting at 12.00 features impeccable songs, beautiful animation and a moving story in this no-expense-spared Disney production.

Experience the award-winning music! This outdoor screening is taking place at The Portsmouth Distillery.

Hugh Jackman’s feel good film, The Greatest Showman, is where he truly unleashes his inner trouper, and he barely stops singing, dancing and flicking around a top hat from beginning to end. The film starts at 3.30pm and is supported by some award winning shorts provided by Making Waves Film Festival starting at 3.00pm

Bond is back! This outdoor screening is taking place at The Portsmouth Distillery.

Kick back and relish a shaken not stirred cocktail made from The Portsmouth Distillery’s gorgeous gins and rums and enjoy No Time To Die which starts at 7.00pm.

No.6 is taking a brief intermission - re-opening scheduled for May 9th

Loyal regulars will be aware that we have had a few technical issues with some of our screenings recently. We have been working to resolve these, and have been pleased that our most recent showings, including lengthy films like Dune: Part 2 and Apocalypse Now, have worked okay. But we feel it’s unfair on you to be crossing our fingers and hoping, we’d rather get things sorted properly.

The plan is to close for the next two weeks and hopefully return on Thursday 9th May. Keep an eye on the No.6 website and newsletter for confirmation or otherwise, and of course to find out what we will be showing when we do return. Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding.
