Back to all posts No6 will be showing this classic film on Fri 20th Decemeber at 7pm

Christmas is a time to embrace the films we love and watch them again for the ’n’ th time and to open our hearts to new favourites.
This year we are celebrating the festive season with two classic films and one new stonker.

The Wizard of Oz is an astonishing 80 this year so we will be paying homage to this great classic with a screening on Friday 20th Dec at 7.00pm.

Some people only feel that Christmas has only really started when they have watched Miracle on 34th Street(1947 version), with this we can oblige, we are showing it at No6 on Saturday 21st at 7.00pm, is our final screening before Christmas.

Frozen was an instant success when it was released in 2013 and it looks likeFrozen 2 is on the same trajectory. With its staggering animation it will look amazing our huge screen, we will be screening it on two afternoons; Friday 20th and Saturday 21st at 4.15pm.

All tickets £5.00.

We’ve been expecting you.

Downton Abbey is our monthly matinee this Thursday, join us for a free cup of tea/coffee and a warm mince pie in the cafe before the  film. Film starts at 4.15pm and will be the subtitled version.

The 1920 Horror masterpiece.

On Thursday evening we are screening one of the greatest silents ever made. Der Golem is a classic 1920’s German Expressionist horror, better than the more famous Cabinet of Dr Caligari and quite frankly extraordinary for its time.

Based on an actual lie.

The Farewell is being hailed as one of the best films of the year and is sure to feature in the awards season next year. The Farewell is on Friday evening.

The legend behind the rainbow.

Renee Zellweger does a great job of portraying Garland’s journey into self-obliteration on Saturday night, will she win an Oscar for Judy? Quite possibly.
